Okanogan double-crested cormorant colony
The Okanogan double-crested cormorant colony is a small breeding colony on the Columbia River just below the confluence with the Okanogan River. The cormorants nest in cottonwood trees along the southern bank of the Columbia River. Since 2005, the colony has been realtively stable in size at ca. 35 breeding pairs.
